“best value in the vouliegmeni this year will be my 4th stay”

we always stay here after many years prior, having stayed at the astir, the price for a room at armonia is a fraction of the astir and the astir hotel has horrible smell, which this hotel is very clean, smells good and has rooms with the largest decks that wrap around and have beautiful sea views, the staff are helpful friendly and go out of their way for us. we walk everyday to the private beach which is clean and wonderfully organized. there is a kiosk in the parking lot of hotel open very late that you can get anything you need.

Room Tip: family suite

“Good hotel, great staff and very good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2010

This hotel is a very good basic and clean hotel with swimming pool, great beaches and many nice options of restaurants within walking distance. We went to Athens for a weekend to attend a wedding and would love to have stayed longer. I was in doubt between staying in Glyfada and Vouliagmeni. The days were very hot, so it was great to be near the beach and have a pool at the hotel. So, for us, it was the right choice. On the way to the airport, I realzed to have left my watch when showering at the pool, so I called the reception and Mr Spyros was very efficient in giving the watch to a couple we had met at the hotel. I did not go for breakfast but my husband said it was very bad. You might find some supermarkets and deli within walking distance. From the airport we took a bus to the closest street to the hotel (about 20-30 min ride) which costed ca. Euro 2,00 per person and then got a taxi to the hotel: 3 min, Euro 3. On the way back it was easier to get a taxi straight to the airport. If going with children there was a playground about 5-10 minutes walk. The hotel does not offer anything special for kids, but if all you want is swimming-pool and beaches, this hotel is fine. We were surprised to see how big the safe-box in the room is. I guess one could fit a laptop inside. There is nearby the Waffle House not to be missed also around 5 minutes walk.

“Very boring but great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 June 2010

This hotel is not a beauty or a jewel but is very clean and has an excellent location. The rooms are very simple some with a small balcony and sea view. The breakfast is also very simple but the service is ok and what is more important is very clean. The beautiful beach is just couple of minutes away. The hotel itself has a big and clean pool. But somehow there is almost empty around. The rooms have a very small tv, and empty minibar and NO Internet connection. The neighborhood is cool with lot of good restaurants and bars and discos around. If you are going there for the beach you will definitely enjoy it. The price îs also ok.

“Had a wonderful time!”

Hotel Armonia was very nice. The hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly!..The rooms were a nice size and were updated. (Except for the TV"S) I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is in a great location, where you can walk to local resaurants, as well as the popular Astir Beach.

“Like a Ghost Town or Mental Institution”

When we arrived at the Armonia we were exhausted. We had just come from Santorini were the beds were hard as rocks so we were hoping to find softer beds here. The lobby was a large bare space with a man whom had no personality and as I looked up I noticed the socket for the non-existent "chandelier" was hanging down as if they ran out of money to finish. We were praying the rooms would be better, but they were even worse. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of room, but no furniture to fill it. The first room in our suite was a large space with a tiny little couch and a small table shoved in the corner. Then it had two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Both of the beds were like concrete, they only had one very small TV in one of the rooms, and they had medal gates that shut over the windows that made you feel like you were in one of those movies were it's the end of the world! If I can warn anyone, DON'T stay in Vouliagmani unless you know what you're getting into. It's not what the pictures and the descriptions say it's like. Also, this hotel IS NOT by the beach, it's not even near it. Please take my word for it, it's terrible.
