we have just returned from ten days in Athens having had one of the best holidays we have ever had. We were worried that ten days in the same hotel might be too long - not at all. Our room was big enough to act as a sitting room and bedroom, with TV, DVD and minibar as well as a desk, sofa and balcony. The restaurant downstairs serves some of the best food we had to the extent that we often ate either lunch or dinner there. The staff were charming, friendly and discreet as well as being very helpful and considered with their recommendations. All in all we couldn't recommend Periscope more highly and can't wait to return!

It's a small boutiquey hotel, but it does the trick.
The staff is very nice but just note that you're not going to be waited on hand and foot because it's not a big hotel. The space is modern and clean. Rooms aren't spacious, but for a couple nights stay - it's more than adequate.
The location is a little further away from all the touristy traffic but it's in a posh neighborhood and an easy walk to just about everything - shops, food, etc.

The hotel is very well situated in a lovely part of Athens, a short walk from the centre of the city. The modern design of the building and the rooms makes it a pleasant place to come home to after a day of sightseeing and the staff are so friendly that they make you feel like it's a home-stay

I always prefer this hotel especially for the location which is most convenient either for buisness, shopping or pleasure. Situated in a quiet str. in the very heart of Kolonaki area and it's a walking distance to various shops, fancy restaurants, coffe shops and bars.
The rooms are very nice, modern and clean and the service is excellent! The stuff very friendly and very helpful! I definitely recommend this small treasure!!!
