“Harmony V small ship sailing to Greek Islands”

My husband and I just returned from the Greek Islands aboard the Harmony V (www.alphayachting.com) October 7, 2011. We did a lot of research before we left the US. We chose this company because every time we emailed them they got right back immediately unlike other cruise companies.
Harmony V is a small ship with about 45 passengers. We visited many islands including Santorini, Delos, Myconos, Hydra etc.
We met wonderful people. The food was delicious. The crew were exceptional. A small ship can go to many islands that the large cruise ships cannot. We were treated like royalty. I would highly recommend the Harmon V or any of the many other trips that this company provides!

“Organised our sailing trip around the Cyclades really well”

They are real, Manos looked after us. They do crewed or bare foot yachts/cats/stinkers.
We hired the Lagoon 500 with 3 crew. With 2 families of 3 each we all had our own bedroom on bpard with en suite. The Captain, Cook and Frist Mate were just great.
The trip went well, even with some really serious wind for a couple of days - as the Captain says - "you want a vacation or you want adventure"!! We had a bit of both so note that the Cyclades are pretty windy for 85% of the year so sailing the Islands isn't alwys just "plain sailing". That said we felt very safe in the Captains hands, Cookie made fab food and the First Mate (Max) was excellent to boot.
This was differnet for us and we loved it - to be honest Force 8-9 winds on one day actually made it for us; we all felt we had accomplisged something outside fo a normal vacation!

Room Tip: Boats - big really is better!
