It is very close to the airport but .... the rooms are very old.... air cond didn't keep room cool, large space between door and veranda in room, in desperate need of repair. Owners are new and very nice people but I couldn't stay there. No tv all tho it advertises as having one, it does but no cable so no good tv if ytou want just a place to crash its ok but I wouldn't stay.

Friendly service, cheap room, close to airport, period. Nothing else. Took the $49/night room and it was that. Four walls, 1 mirror, 2 beds, A/C. No night stand, no clock, no nothing. Bed hard as a brick. Pull chain for light in ceiling, nothing else. Owner will cook for you, but nothing else close to hotel. Would not stay again.

The Embassy Hotel is located just across from the international airport, just outside of Belize City, Belize, Central America. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent. I was welcomed and treated as if I were a member of the family. I highly recommend this hotel, and I have stayed in hotels all over the world, in Europe, Asis, Middle East, Alaska, and most of the US. Have a great stopover and try this great place out.
