We have just spent a wonderful week at the Imperial Boathouse, we have not returned to the Boathouse in Koh Samui for four years as another hotel was being built nearby but that has now been tastefully completed. The Boathouse is now back to it's wonderfully endearing best and is not to be missed as a destination to lovely Thailand.
The beach is still excellent and the friendly Thai people make it such a great experience.
For a romantic and/or family destination we do not believe the Boathouse can be bettered and, in our eyes, is still one of the best value for in Thailand.

Great and helpful staff at this beachfront hotel. Big spacious rooms, two fab swimming pools.
In a quiet part of Koh Samui but you can easily get around the island with the help of the 3 Crown taxi service where you will find English speaking staff and a smooth and efficient service where you can also hire safe and modern cars and scooters with insurance.
I really like this place, breakfast can be a little flustered when busy but the staff manage well and are always friendly and attentive.
The only negative for me was the rather hard bed and pillow but I still slept well.
All in all a great stay, made by the lovely staff, everyone with a friendly smile

we travelled as a party of three couples in our 50s and stayed in premier rooms that we think had been refurbished,these rooms have been the best rooms we have stayed in and we have been to quite few countries between us.the only down side was the lack of night-life in cheong mon,you had to go to chaweng or bophut if you wanted any action,it was probably a good job we didnt need much.the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff some of the friendliest people we have met.any-one who writes a bad review of this hotel must be very hard to please.the gardens where immaculate and the hotel quiet so you could sleep with out any disturbance would not hesitate to return and would recomend it to all.

Had a fantastic time at the Imperial Boathouse. The restaurant at the hotel was the best in Cheongmon by far, great value for money, and the food quality equally as good when eating by the pool.
Both pools were clean and lovely to swim in.
Massage at the hotel Spa was incredible, the best I have had and I would like to thank the Manager for taking such good care of my treatment

Service was excellent, I have no complaints about our stay and would go back again.
