We thought this was an excellent hotel in Porto. The rooms were large, clean, stylish and well designed. The bathrooms were gorgeous and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was fantastic (one of the best meals we had all holiday!) and great value.
It is possible to park on the streets near the hotel and they also have a car park and free wifi.

The only negatives were that the wifi isn't available in the rooms (only in reception) and although the surrounding area seems safe enough it doesn't have alot else going for it and the nearest Metro is a bit of a walk away. However, a taxi to the centre is only about 6 euros and it's worth it to stay in such a lovely hotel.

Travelling with our family (2 adults, 2 kids) we stayed in a Suite. It was super comfortable -- great bedding, ammenties, room services, etc.. Our room had a fantastic balcony overlooking the Bessa area.

We choose this hotel to be near family in the Bessa/Bovista area. It was a very short walk to the Bessa stadium for soccer/football fans. Also within walking distance to City Tour Hop On/Off buses. This hotel is not situated in the heart of Porto -- if that is what you are looking for.

I stayed at the Bessa Hotel for nearly a week as part of a conference I attended in Porto. The hotel is just great, the rooms, the service, the products are excellent. The only shortcoming might be its location, but if you do not mind paying 5-7 euros for taxi to city center this hotel will not let you down.

This hotel is a wonderfully designed hotel with spacious comfortable rooms, with lots of pampering feel to it. Service is kind and helpful, and all extra services reasonable priced. I have enjoyed my stay here very much and warmly recommend the place to anyone else visiting Porto.
Only one shortcoming is the hotel's location which is far away from the historic center, as well as from a metro station. However, if you can afford taxis back and forth, this is a great spot to embark from for meetings and leisure travel.
