The major pro of this hotel is its location in the very center of Porto. Accessing to the main Porto's landscapes are within few minutes walking. The room and the bathroom are quite small but clean and quite convenient. We had a room that was facing the street, and though the street is a bit noisy (as several bars and restaurants are located in this very street), we had no problem of getting asleep after walking for hours in Porto's ups and downs.... At worst, one can close the window and open the AC.
Breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff was friendly and helpful and gave us some reasonably good tips concerning restaurants in the neighborhood (though generally food is not one of Portugal's benefits). Accessing the hotel is easy for both people that are using the public transportation (10 minutes walking from the train & metro station, or those arriving by car (paid indoor parking lot is 2 minutes walking far from the hotel)

We stayed here on Saturday night after finishing 100 miles of the Camino De Santiago a couple of days before. We chose it randomly, went out in the evening for a few hours, but got back expecting to sleep but was kept awake by the horrendously loud music and 100s of people partying on the street below. We couldn't close the window as it was too hot in the top floor 'attic' room. Rooms are small and the whole place is a bit tatty. Don't stay here on a weekend if you're not a party animal.

The only decent thing about this place wwas the location. The room was small and poorly appointed- tv did not work and the furniture was sparse and rickety. The hotel smelled of codfish and boiled cabbage. We booked here based on reviews, but the hotel did not meet expectations. In fact it was so disgusting, we refused to stay here and found other accomodations- even if it meant paying the penalty. DO NOT STAY HERE

Smashing little place for a cheap weekend in Porto. Right in the centre of the action which means it can get a little noisy late on a weekend - but nothing too bad. Fantastic service, fantastic price. Rooms a little basic, but what do you want?!
