The hotel is fantastic, and the staff so helpful and friendly.
The Breakfast was the best we have ever had. The rooms were spacious . Everywhere was spotless.
All in all a lovely relaxing holiday, and we will certainly return to this hotel. We definitely would recommend it to our friends.

We picked this hotel for our 2 night stay out of Michelin guide. The price was great and the hotel offered free parking which was a huge plus for us. It is located on a busy shopping street - Rua Santa Catarina, about 10-15 minute walk from the center.

Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The decor was very old and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. I would say that the sleep quality was the only big negative of this hotel because everything else was great for a budget hotel.

Breakfast had a good selection and there was even wireless internet in the lobby.

Staff helped us with good restaurant selection in the walking distance. It helped us since we arrived late at night and needed to eat something fast. Also, on the second day we wanted take an evening drive to the coast but our car was blocked in in the garage by other cars. It would take them a long time to pull it out. The hotel manager gave us the keys from one of his cars instead and refused to take the money for the gas when we got back. What a nice gesture!

The Hotel is walking distance to the River and tourist attractions. The rooms are small and basic, but the breakfast is impressive and the staff were friendly and informative. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
