I've stayed here over 30 times during the past 7 years.
The rooms are large and well layed out. The hotel has recently had a bit of decoration and it all looks and feels good. The rooms at the back of the hotel are much quieter than the front and I always go in one of those. The breakfast is mixed. Lots of bread, cake and buns, with some meat and cheese. The fruit is sometimes a bit fizzy! The coffee is not good.
Next door the the hotel is the casa da chocolate...great for coffee, toast and orange juice and I usually take this for breakfast. Towards the casa da musica on the right is a little very traditional restaurant called Chimite. You'll get a very cheap extremely authentic portuguese dining experience here!

I have stayed twice at this hotel. The first time when I attended a conference, 4 nights and the second on holiday, two nights. Clean,big rooms, nice breakfast and a service minded staff. Suited me perfect.

this was a very nice hotel, it was reasonnably priced. very welcoming staff. it was avery clean hotel. the breakfast was varied and ample. the location in the city left a little to be desired, as there are not a lot of bars/restaurants, this seemed more like the business area of the city, than anything else. however the main part of the city is only a short distance away, either by Bus/taxi/wallking. I enjoyed the stay at the hotel, but would look to book somewhere nearer the centre, when visiting again. the hotel is ideal if you are on business, or really want a very quiet break.

we stayed 4 nights in this hotel and first they gave me a room on 2nd floor with back view to the kitchen roof. I asked to change it to a front view and higher floor which they did. The rooms are big and quite clean, but they should have wood floor instead of carpet. The beds are too hard. The lift is very very small and with 4 people in, there is the danger to get stucked which indeed happen. 4 of us got closed inside during 15 minutes with a terrible horn sound. After we were relesead the answer from receptionist was "too much weight" and she forgot to apologise. The breakfast was very poor served in a very small room near the reception. The garage (paid separately) was very small and the entrance access ramp is very high and not flat causing the cars getting damaged because they scratch on the floor.
