We (my wife and I) have been there just for one night. the hotel is very nice. it is not in the heart of the city , so you need a car. I didn't use public transport there but I believe there should be a bus line passing there. the rooms are clean and the staffs are kind. we didn't have breakfast because it was not included in our room.

We stayed in this hotel during our holiday in Porto. We payed €40 including breakfast per night, which is a bargain.

The good:

-The price, a clean basic room for a sign.
-The beds
-The shower/bathroom
-The free internet in the reception/breakfast area
-The times the breakfast was served... from 7 till 12 (noon).

The bad:

-The location (25 minutes by bus to centre)
-The breakfast. Ok for one or two days, after that every day the same, which is annoying.
-The sometimes noisy rooms... Walls could be thicker.
-I would call the hotel basic, not design.
-Staff could be more friendly

Overall... If you're on a budget and don't care about location it's an OK hotel to be for a few days....

veeery goood, with a modern design, cool breakfasts which are available 24 hours in a bar, cost 5 euros...))) there is a free wi-fi connection!! every day cleaning. i really enjoyed it. the only thing - the beds are twin-beds... so if u are a couple which wants a romantic weekend, maybe it's better to get some other hotel with a more comfortable bed...the rest is SUPER FINE!!!!

I stood one night at Star Inn Hotel and was very surprised with the quality of the hotel. I took my car, so I don't know anything about transportation, but it was very clean, with great bed and nicely furbished. I would go back again without thinking.
