Comfortable and clean with a great breakfast and wonderful sea views. The building was looking well worn, with tiles cracked etc. Don't let this put you off as the hotel has good facilities and there are various restaurants close by. also there is a private secure parking garage. Only stayed one night but would probaly stay there again if I was in the area.

We took a weeks late break south of Porto to a beach resort called Espinho. We booked the Hotel Praia Golfe, billed a 4 star, but a very tired one, 3 would be adequate.However, the hotel was clean well located and with good facilities, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and massage were all available. We booked a room with sea view, and with the weather good for nearly all of the week during 4-11th October, we enjoyed beautiful sunsets most nights. The train ran into Porto taking only 20 minutes for about 1 pound each. The beach stretched for over 16kms, with a wooden boardwalk running along most of it, perfect for walkers or just taking in the fresh air and relaxing. At this time of year the town was not buzzing, but the variety of restaurants and quality of food and wine made up for it. The location was fantastic, good for getting about and inexpensive.

This hotel has a fantastic location right beside a lovely beach and the train station which brings you right into the city centre. The pool is nice, the food is adequate and the hotel is clean but probably not at the standard you would expect for a four star. The weather wasn't great during our stay and the hotel is not really the kind of place you would like to hang out. I would say its adequate but not so comfortable. The staff were excellent and most helpful and the rates were also excellent. This is a great lo for a budget beach holiday.

I spent a couple of nights this time but I've been here before.
The Hotel is not so special and fortunately they are renewing some rooms. It is clean even if it has not a great appearance.
It is located in front of the ocean (so some rooms at lower floor tend to be noisy) right in this small village.
It is clean and now they offer a wi-fi facilities.
The structure is typical from the 70s but thay have a nice swimming pool and spa.
The buffet breakfast has everything you want (salted or sweet).
In general is a good option if you pay some special fare.
The previous time I've been in this hotel (business trip) I was not satisfied but now they are improving..
