The hotel is located on on quiet street, which is great, just a short walk to Avenue da Liberadade, yes it is hilly. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and speak very good English and most helpful. You have to keep in mind that the hotel is in an old monastery, so it's old............Our room was for three on the 1st floor. The room itself was OK, the beds were very comfy, rather on the large size, clean sheets, there was a small closet available for hanging clothes. Now the bathroom was something else, it needs a good cleaning, the toilet really smelled, which we did complain about, they were to clean it again, but don't think it was, the shower had Hot water, but is very old. There is free internet in the lobby. Breakfast was nice with rolls, coffee and juice. You basicly get what you pay for!
