This is my second time at the Fontana, first was for Valentines Day and Ive stayed on a Deluxe Room and it all went quite smooth, this time not so well.
The staff at the reception were two young ladies, very cold, very grumpy. At the check in it was like if they were doing us a favour to check us in. When we got to the room the blinds wouldn't work, after calling the reception it took 4 hours for them to check it out. As we stayed at the rooms on the back the noise was terrible, not only from neighbours but also from the AC machines they had downstairs. We could feel the the windows were not closing properly cause we could feel cold air reaching us from the window.
The bathtub you can't turn the water on without getting all wet, plus its terrible to adjust the water temperature cause it had no indication where to turn hot or cold. Another downside is the toilet, you need to sit on the toilet with the door open otherwise your knees will hit the door.
The hotel looks great as always but terribly non functional. Its a shame..
I do like design hotels, but the ones that makes me feel comfortable and does the basic stuff with no problems. Its not the case.
Im afraid I won't be coming back..
Room Tip: Don't go for the back rooms, way too noisy.
