i had a late arrival in lisbon so i wanted to stay the first night in a conveniently located and cheap hotel. i found this hotel through a hotel booking site so i payed only 20€ for a twin room. quite a few hostels in lisbon charge more for one dorm bed as you might know... the showers and toilets are okay and clean. i haven't checked out the kitchen nor the wifi availability so i can't say anything about that but in general i think that this place is well worth the money i paid. the location is in a quiet street thats easy to reach from the airport. the bairro alto is a 10 minutes walk away and there is also a tram line nearby. the hotel is on the second floor of a residential building and there is no elevator. also there are no big signs so you should have the exact adress and not only the name of the street.

The only good thing I have to say about this hostel is that it is convienently located.... Other than that, I have little reason to recommend it. The "kitchen" as advertised on the website only has a microwave, frig, and a dirty table.... no stove! There is no internet access or lounge area to hang out in. You only receive one set of keys (I was travelling with 2 other friends) so that proved to be a bit difficult at times. The floors in the rooms were dirty, as were the comforters. The shower water was only lukewarm and there is no heating. The owners, who live in the hostle, were extremely nosy, wanting to know with whom we are going out with and when we will return, where we are going and so on. They could offer no useful information about the city nor did they have any pamphlets with sightseeing info and such. I´ve said enough. I certainly think there are much better hostles in Lisbon. Don´t stay here!!
