The B&B is in the middle of the old part of Lissabon, close to Rossio. Be prepared for all the stairs in Lissabon! The B&B lays above a restaurant and is decorated with eye for detail. Luis and Carlos do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Lots of tips about where to eat, where to go, what to see. They tell you all the Portuguese "secrets" like restaurants where you pay for the food and not for window-dressing. We liked the walk with Carlos tot the local rubbish market a lot. Great breakfast. Thanks to the mobile phone you get from Zuza you have a lifeline, when you walk trough Lissabon and are lost, have a problem, have a question.

Ideally located. Incredible hospitality. The host/owner takes perfect care of you and makes absolutely sure everything about your stay in as perfect as possible. You even get a phone to call him any time about anything yo want.

My sister and I stayed in the Grand Suite apartment for a long weekend in January. We loved it. Fabulously furnished and decorated with lots lovely vintage items. Perfectly located - the area is beautiful and felt safe.

Very nice and informative greeting by the owner's associate Carlos. Great to have food and wine in the fridge on arrival.The service provided by the owner Luis was wonderful from start (booking) to finish. You can really sense that he wants the very best for his guests.

I would very much recommend Zuza - in addition to being much better value than a hotel, you also get insider advice on dining, bars, fado etc.

Luis put us up in the apartment. He was tremendously helpful in getting us settled, and then also taking our telephone call when we were looking for dining suggestions. The apartment is spacious but cosy, decorated by an impressive collection of 70s kitch. The kitchen was well stocked and we were not wanting of anything. The only downside was that the nearby square can get noisy on a Friday night after the bars let out. That said, I would change my travel plans to stay here rather than stay somewhere else.
