Stayed here with a large group of friends, due to time constraints and budget this hotel seemed the best of our options..
Location is ok, it's out of the way, but taxi's in Portugal are very cheap for a big city, getting anywhere would only really cost 5 euros.
Hotel lobby was nice, rooms look pretty new, some signs of wear and tear
Complaints.
Reception service was always too slow, however i am ferociously impatient so you might not mind waiting 25 minutes while they figure out how to check you in or out.
The air conditioning in my room was broken, i know this for two reasons.. One, it was so hot we had to open the window, two, we had 6 rooms, the rest were cool, mine was not.
I complained half a dozen times, i even had an engineer in my room, who insisted my air con was fine.. which was both incorrect and annoying
Although we didn't have problems i witnessed both an english and spanish couple complaining about bed bugs, one lady was covered in them, like i said, there was 13 of us and we didn't have a problem, but the staff involved at the time didn't seem to care.
Cleaning staff.. if you are reading this.. please wear rubber soled shoes, as apposed to cloggs or stilettos, tiled floors and your thumpy feet do not equal a good nights rest.
Prostitutes in the lobby, nice. however, in all fairness Lisbon is actually a filth pit and i'd allow you to quote me that all hotels will at some point have prostitutes in the lobby trying to figure out which room their punter is in.
