“This kind of hotels should not exist anymore”

I stayed here twice for business which I had in the office building right next door. Besides logistical convenience there is no single point for choosing this hotel. It’s an outdated, ugly concrete block by a motorway. View from the hillside location is beautiful, but the minute you open the door outside all you hear is the noise of the traffic. Even the breakfast room is noisy with old air conditioning equipment. Rooms are worn-out and style-wise badly past their sell-by date. During the second stay my air conditioning nor my shower worked, toilet seat just barely. Poor pieces of gym equipment that they have is tucked away in an old meeting room in the basement without any signs for a gym. An unaesthetic experience for all your senses.

“Spotless Hotel - couldn't fault it”

If you are planning on staying at this hotel it is probably for football or business. It is outside the main city so you need transport or prepared to pay for taxi etc. The Hotel itself is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at. The staff are really excellent and most helpful. Beds are very comfortable - i slept very well. Meals are very good - breakfast is excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice, continental and hot breakfast available. The outdoor pool is out the back of the hotel - it is basic but very clean and there are sunbeds to relax on. There's a gym facility about 10 machines in there bicycle, tread mill etc all good. There's no mad wild life here you'll have to go into town for that. The hotel is worth the 4 stars it is a very good hotel but a little out of town so depends on what you are looking for. Very close to the national stadium and fairly close (by car) to Sporting Lisbon and Benfica as well as the airport.
