Stayed 4 nights during a work visit to Lisbon, and did not find anything to complain about the hotel. Reasonable prices, beautiful interior and neat rooms. The AC was very loud the first night, and the temperature was chilly, but this can of course be adjusted, which we did, ant slept tight after that. The breakfast buffet was also good. A little slow check-in at the hotel, but otherwise the service was good. The location is also ok as the hotel lies close to the Anjos- metro station, from where it is very easy and fast to get downtown, to the Baixa. The city itself is also beautiful with its historic buildings and the amazing view towards the sea at dark.

I got nice tidy room with silent air-conditioning, good service in English. Breakfast ok for the price.

The keys dont work 75% of times, the staff do not know anything at all and are not helpful.

My friend and I had booked 2 non-smoking rooms with double beds for one night. We chose this hotel becauase it was near both the city centre and the airport and had parking available. On arrival, my frtiend and I waited at the reception desk whilst the receptionist finished a long conversation with one of the cleaning staff. After checking in, I found that my room had twin beds (not a double), the room reeked of tobacco smoke, The shower lay broken and unattached in the bottom of the bath and the hair dryer dangled detached from the dryer unit. The room was tired and dated and the carpet was absolutely filthy. I checked with my friend who had been given an adjacent room - he too had been given a twin bedded room instead of a double. The waste basked in his room was still full of rubbish from the previous guest. I returned to reception to advise them of the problems with my accommodation. Having laughed at "many, many problems", I was given another room on a different floor. This room was equally tired and dated, twin beds etc..but I reluctantly agreed to stay. As there was NO restaurant in the hotel, we decided to go downtown for a few drinks and a meal. We realised during this walk that this hotel was in a decidedly dodgy part of town. The following moning, we realised that we were too early for breakfast (7am) . My friend was unable to sleep as the air conditioning unit was too loud and ineffective and the roomwas too warm without it! At 5.30 am he decided to get up, have a showetr and read until it was time for our departure...gyuess what....not a drop of hot water! We left for the airpot happy to have "survived" this experience. Finally, there is an underground carpark on three levels, this was very, very, tight for manoevering and parking...we were only in an Opel Corsa!! The exit route is the same as the entrance - I hate to think that would happen if a car coming in met a car going out! Oh, an by the way,parking cost an extra 10 euro! Don't stay in this hotel, you have been warned!
