We did not choose this hotel, we were part of a group, so it was chosen for us and indeed, this is a hotel that caters to groups and salesmen. The location is a bit out of the center, but the Campo Pequeno subway (under the bullring) is two blocks away and buses 44, 36 and 745 take you all the way to the waterfront. Also under the bullring a circular mall with supermarket and a variety of stores. What I really disliked was that the entrance of the hotel is in a curved dead end street, located after an office building, very isolated at night. Or you can cross through a fenced parking lot to get to Ave. 5 de Octobro. Though clean, the rooms need updating and cleaning. Burnt night tables, moldy grout, really worn toilet, erratic TV, frayed towels. Room service has to be paid in cash. When we asked why the next day, we were told that people leave without paying. Of course this could be solved by taking a credit card imprint as soon as you check in, which is not done. Two computers in the lobby provided internet access for a moderate 1.50 Euro for half an hour.
