- hotel is siutuated directly in the city center
- friendly receptionist

- small room with a very narrow thwin bed
- working wifi internet connection (5 € / 24 hours)
- poor breakfest (only yogurt, one type of cheese, tea and very rusk bread - that i liked)
- a lot of possibilities for cheap eating in front of the hotel and nearby too

In the whole city center are many drug dealers. If they find out that youre tourist, they will not let you in peace (especially if you are between 20-35). They will ask you thousand times if you want hash or something else, despite that you tolde them already that youre not interestedf into drungs. A lot of policemens are going on teh streets, but they arent taking care about it. Dont expect help.

Anyhow I will visit Lisbon again and maybe i will choose this hotel again. Lisbon is a amazing and beautiful city. This time i will be prepared for many drug dealers (will not be shocked again).

This hotel is not a super star hotel..but it is in a great location; walking distance to Bairro Alto nightlife, St. Jorge's castle and of course tons of shopping just steps away.

Breakfast is not good; just some bread, butter and cheese. Some cereal and fruit was available, but only one kind of each. tea and juice.

There is NO AC in this hotel even though they do advertise AC. There is a fan inside the room that you have t keep on all the time so that it would not get too hot. Evenings can gte pretty cool in Lisbon, so you cold kep windows open to get some cool air in.

Request a room on a higher floor and away from the elevator. Elevator doors bang loud and it is annoying if you are trying to sleep and people come home late at night..you will wake up to the noise. Another thing is, street performers that hang around the hotel are SO LOUD..you are guaranteed to get annoyed about them (especially the one that just keeps laughing for nothing..).

There is a safe in room. Cost per day is 1.50e.
They like to give out just 1 key per room and perfer you to leave the key with concierge when you leave the hotel. We did not, but they reminded us "if anything happens in your room and you did not leave a key with us, we are not responsible".

Friendly staff.

Hotel rooms were clean.

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us in Lisbon. It is in a great location in the middle of tourist attractions. When we arrived it was 97degrees outside and we found out that our room had no air conditioning. Thinking that this was only our room I asked if other rooms had air conditioning and was told by the people at the hotel desk that the whole hotel did not have air conditioning. For us this was unacceptable and we made other hotel arrangements immediately and never stayed overnight. We had the Rick Steves travel guide with us and a description from our travel agent and both sources said this hotel has air conditioning. I told our travel agent that they should discontinue recommending this hotel in the future.

A great location in downton Lisbon. Walk to Castelo Alfama, restaurants, just a couple of blocks to Metro and busses. Our double room with bath was very small and sad, no AC.
