We were so disappointed with this place. My wife and I started our holiday in The Azores in a 3 star hotel, which was wonderful, then a 4 star hotel which was good and finally here in Lisbon, which was awful.

The room was supposed to be self catering. If you cooked in the room then everything smelt of the food.

The cleaners clearly didn't clean properly as there was a stain in the corner of the room when we arrived and the second day we had to actually ask a cleaner to clean it.

The sheets and blankets on the bed belonged in the worst youth hostel, rather than in a hotel. They looked like they were years old.

The toilet wasn't screwed to the floor properly.

The TV didn't work properly.

The breakfast by the pool should have been the saving grace, but the selection was disappointing compared to other hotels.

There were hen and stag parties in the hotel which the managers didn't keep any check on, so were partying through the night.

When we complained to the staff about any of the above, they weren't in the slightest bit interested and didn't even bother to come and look at the room.

All in all this was one of the most disappointing places I've ever stayed in.
