This is a perfect hotel if you want to be right in the centre of Lisbon with all the attractions and restaurants right on your doorstep.
No hotel in Lisbon has a better location.
The rooms were clean and tidy and the reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast adequate.
I would recommend this to anyone, particularly for a "City Break" which is what we did, spending four nights there at 65 euros per night per room for the two of us in March when the weather was perfect for sight seeing.
Lisbon is a fastinating city well worth a visit and with all the eating places to chose from, you only need a hotel for sleeping and breakfast.
All the smart hotels were well out of the centre and I would not have swapped if they had payed me.

From this hotel you can walk to most of the major attractions, sites, good bars and restaurants..

For other attractions like Belem buses and trams (15E get a day rider ticket) can be found in one of the nearby squares. The hotel staff will help you.

The hotel is a little shabby, but no problem. The decor is a little dark, browns and green and the staff are helpful but not gushing. However, for all these negative points the advantages outweigh them. The hotel is clean, in an excellent location and cheap.

I just stayed for 2 nights at this hotel right in the heart of the Baixa district in Lisbon. I had a single room (comes with a double bed), and it's small. The hotel and room is old, worn, but very clean. It would have been nice if they bothered to fix the broken shower head holder, but it's a minor complaint. It's a basic hotel, but surprisingly quiet (I faced a side building, no views, but peaceful). The only noise you will hear through the thin walls/ceilings is other guests who are not courteous enough to quietly shut their door (nstead of slamming it in the middle of the night). You get a nice continental breakfast served individually containing a fresh sweet bun, a crustly roll, jams & butter, with a cholice of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. You can also ask for juice I believe. The reception was very helpful and called a nearby taxi stop for me for my airport ride (only about 15 minutes in the morning - 9.10 euros as I had 2 pieces of luggage but the actual fare was around 6.50 euro). For 50 Euro/night (single - breakfast included), you can't beat this budget hotel.

Thsi is a great budget hotel. Paid 60 euros a night for 2 of us, inc bathroom, usual continental breakfast, tv and lovely balcony view. Location is absolutely perfect. Reception are friendly. The negative points that i saw on reviews before i went were the noise from the street below, the coffee and room size.
There was no noise at all from the street at night, and i noticed that the windows appeared to be pretty new, so maybe they have improved the sound proofing.
Coffee - great! esp after having all those mini ones that they serve everywhere.
Room size was fine, ive had smaller.
I'm trying to find something negative to write - The room was a little musky, noting major, and with the balcony opened it cleared.
I really can't think of anything else negative to say, if your looking for a cheap hotel for a break then i would be surprised if you could find better.
