From the moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and happy to enjoy a joke with the clientele.
The hotel is very close to the airport and whilst the reception isn't anything to shout it is clean and the rooms are fantastic for the price, large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the regenerated, more business area of the city but it's only a short (cheap) taxi ride to the old town which is fantastic.
If you're looking for a friendly, efficient and all round value for money service then the Hotel Tryp Oriente will serve you very well.

I was on a business trip to central Portugal and had a day and a half off, so I picked up this hotel to achieve maximum profit of my short stay - and it was a right decision. It is a 5 minutes ride to the airport (transfers free, covered by hotel!) - rooms are really nice, clean, spacious, so 2 people fit in perfectly. Shopping mall is right the corner and its open till midnight with a huge supermarket in the basement, where i could buy some portuguese cheese to take back home, and also snacks and drinks, very cheap. Finally, Parque das nacoes area and Tagus river bank are just 3 minutes away, so I could pack in a 10K morning jog right before my flight! Visiting Lisbon attractions was quite easy, metro stop at Oriente station is 150 minutes away. It takes you in 20 minutes to the very heart of town. All in one, great deal, great time, beutiful city, I enjoyed my stay.

We also had a small problem in our bathroom, sink wasnt working properly, we were relocated to the premium room in 45 minutes.

Very nice hotel, beautiful view, good food, near to the subway station and shopping center, but far from downtown. Excellent room, very big, clean and confortable. i recommend!!

Comfortable hotel near the airport and close to the world expo centre.
Rooms are modern and beds comfortable. Nice bathroom.
WIFI available in rooms.
Breakfast consists of a Buffet and the Scrambled eggs were excellent.
Lobby Bar available for a night cap.
