When booking this hotel I totally missed its location (I don't know how this can happen as usually I am very careful).

I was quite dissapointed to be far away from the city center (10 minutes by cab).

Pros: Great rooms, good price, overall good facilities, and a somewhat decent gym.

Cons: Location, internet fee (super expensive) [I saw them giving a "special price" to an American toursit and hence I demanded discount too!!!, so they were not happy but don't let them fool you].

Had a comfortable stay. Room was spacious and clean. Not a place for character but that is not the right thing to expect at Holiday Inn! It is close to metro, city and airport. I wish they had free Wi-Fi and staff could have been a little more pleasant. They do have a Portuguese car rental company called Turiscar on location.

The hotel is not located near the major sites in Lisbon, but there is a Metro stop close by making travel around Lisbon quick and easy. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. My only complaint was the shower only had 1/2 a door, and water got on the floor. But this seems to be common in Europe. I did have to pay to use the Internet, which was 20 Euro for one day, and it didn't work very well. That could have been because of my computer or the wireless service they use. They offer a breakfast for 10 Euros, but I'd avoid that as the food wasn't that good. Overall I'd say I had a good stay. As far as value goes, the room was booked for free using Holiday Inn reward points.

I liked this hotel a lot, because of it big, clean, quiete room, helpful staff and top floor proposed as requested and nice view with sunsets from the window. It was really comfortable in everything.
I was surprised reading here, that "they clean the rooms really late". As for me - it was really early, that we even requested to do it later (at least after 10 am).
We really liked the location, even in spite it's not in the city center (which we didn't like to stay in). There are couple of parks not far from the hotel and neighborhood looks modern and clean. It's really close to the transportation, if you need it.
What might be not so perfect, that you have to pay for everything and not little: breakfast, Internet, mini-bar - everything was quite expansive.
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and are not sorry for the choice at all.
