Booked a room here back in July.Picked it because it was very close to where we needed to be for a specific event.When we turned up on Friday 2nd December we were told that there had been a problem with their booking system and our room was not available. We were then put into a shuttle bus and taken to another hotel 2 miles away.If there had been a problem with the booking system then I could accept that these things happen and they had done their best to find us another comparable room in another hotel.However, it was a lie! They had a block booking for a bank conference that weekend and rather than honouring prebooked customers we were simply turfed out and told a pack of lies as they chased the bankers euros!I notice from another review that this has happened before so I would recommend all travellers to avoid this hotel that treats customers in this way.

Looking for a place near Campo Grande, I stumbled upon the Hotel Lutecia. The reviews around were helpful and suggestive.

I gave it a try and I was not let down at all.

The room was very pleasant: spacious, clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi isn't something you find everyday and that was a big plus. The bathroom was also spacious and included all your toiletry necessities.

It's location is also a plus. It's 100/200m from the closest Metro station, near the Oriente train station and just a handful of km from the airport.

Morning breakfast was also very kind, including a good quantity of fruit, eggs and sausage, breads, yogurts and your common breakfast desires.

In the end, Lutecia is a good place to stay.

The Hotel Lutecia is in a great location a short stop from Lisbon airport and the town centre. You are close to all the various types of public transport too.
This hotel is clean and linen and towels were changed daily. I found the staff very professional and polite.
They have a great selection for breakfast.

The cocktails were more suited to those cleansing as they were lemon and lime based mostly, could do with more of a selection!
There was a bit if dust in the bedroom, but not much!

Overall, I will come back and We enjoyed it alot x

This is definietly not 4 star hotel I would give it 2 star.The location in dodgy area. Close to the airport but would be afraid to walk there on my own. The staff was unfriendly. Walls in the room and windows dirty and smell of ciagarettes was everywhere. Could also spend some money on breakfast water from the tap, orange juice from the syrop, discgusting coffee.

Very bad experience never again!!!
