“Nice hotel in a pleasant Lisbon neighborhood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Hotel is located almost in the middle of the following geographical triangle: Campo Pequeno - Saldanha square - El Corte Ingles (this is a famous shopping mall). It is also a walking distance (5 mins) from the Eduardo VII Park. Within the walking distance (2-3 mins) of the hotel is the metro station "San Sebastiao" (blue and red metro lines). The neighborhood is residential and very quiet, with lots of small shops and restaurants (notwithstanding the El Corto Ingles). I felt safe in the streets, even late at night.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and polite. I would certainly recommend this hotel for the Lisbon stay.

PLUS: I was personally impressed with the selection of food available for the breakfast, considering it is a three-star hotel. Very large assortment of food (even for the vegetarians) was available; it would probably suffice to say that there was 5-6 different kinds of bread every morning, not to mention fresh fruit (sliced oranges and water-melons)!

MINUS: Internet connection in the hotel is charged! You must pay 5 euros for one hour of the internet connection (there is a computer in the hotel's "business area", or you can use the WiFi connection). Alternatively, you can buy 24 hrs of internet usage (I forgot the price). Furthermore, you need to log-out from the internet connection (web-page interface) once you are finished with the surfing; otherwise, you will use-up all of your allocated time (it will expire). This might be a problem for some people due to the fact that the web-page connection interface have not been arranged in the friendly manner (within the browser bookmarks etc.). For the experienced users this will probably not pose a problem.

“Sana takes guests & quality serious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

Sana Executive Hotel in Lisbon is a comfortable, clean and nice hotel just of the centre, but still walking distance from the main attractions. Lying prefectly in a quiet neighbourghood on a street with small restaurants. Unfortunately their wireless is not included and their coffee at breakfast is still bitterly strong (not drinkable). But, taken those two in account I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are good and quiet.

“Good hotel in a quiet neighborhood.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011 via mobile

I've stated in this hotel for a weekend with some girlfriends. All in all it was a good experience. Even though it started with a misunderstanding. We've booked connecting rooms and were asked to wait for them to be cleaned up. When returning after one hour receptionists changed and the new one told us that there is no connecting rooms in this hotel at all. That was a bit disappointing but again the only thing tat went wrong that weekend.
The reception staff are very helpful and eager to explain you how to get places. The hotel is nearby a huge shopping mall (total of 12 floors incl. cinemas etc.) and two metro stations wherefrom you can go anywhere tourist attractive by only 5-10 minute ride. It's a good location as it's not closeby any busy street or nightlife, so it's nice and peacefully at night.
Breakfast is nice and fresh, there's an ok choice, so everyone can find something that they'll like. Amazing coffee by the way.
The only bad thing if you travel in business or will be in need of an internet connection, it's very bad wireless service. So bad that the nice receptionist offered us a free password (otherwise it costs you some extra per day). Anyway - it didn't work at all.

“Nice hotel. Thank you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

The hotel is located in very good, quiet and safe area. Located close to transport (bus), metro, shops, restaurants.
The beds are very comfortable.
The staff is friendly and polite.
Cleaning is daily and the quality of the cleaning is very good.
Space in the room is enough. The bathroom is very clean and pleasant. Water pressure is good.

1/ The rooms have a need from tea/coffee making facilities.

2/ The carpet a little bit old.

3/ Due to a technical problems I think, my credit card was pre authorized twice - once - one day before arrive and the 2nd - in the day of our arriving. In the day when we leave the hotel - the whole price was taken from the card for the 3rd time, and after that the card was blocked. I take the card from the front-office man and went to the "multibanco"-apparat near to the hotel and the card worked in cash without any problems.

Despite these comments, will recommend the hotel and staying in it again.

“a tidy hotel in a lovely area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 April 2011

have stayed at this hotel many times, the rooms are clean and spacious and well presented and for the price i would always recommend it if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.my room was cleaned every day and the times i have needed to use the laundry service,it was second to none.it is a 5 minute walk to the metro and 5 more minutes your in the city centre.the hotel is in a pedestrianised area and in a upmarket part of lisbon and but for the binmen and women it is very quiet at night.the breakfast is buffet style and more than adequate.there are many cafes in the area but only a few restaurants.the staff are helpful and friendly.if your english and like a cup of tea take your own tea bags and kettle because there are no tea/coffee facilities in your room.
