Normal Portuguese breakfast we ar in Portugual after all!! Only offer of scrambled eggs no other offered. Very polite staff. No internet conenction in the rooms even if yu have your iwn server. The raating for the hotel is certainly not a 4 star it shoud be a 2!! I stayed at the HOTEL DE CHILE 2 star it was much better value and the surprise!! was not wort the surprise pay and no refund.

I stayed there three time, each for 3 or 4 nights during 2010. The rooms were always very clean. The beds were very big and comfortable.
Breakfast was fine for those who liked pastry, bread, eggs and bacon They served little if any vegeables (but they had fruits, though, some of them canned). Their coffee is not recommended. For reasonable coffee you pay them extra and get an espresso. They don't have kettle and teas in the rooms. The staff people were nice. As a whole, it was OK.

I stayed at this hotel only for one night due a lay over on my way back to the US. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from the airport with Taxi. The hotel was OK. The only negative experience I had was when I arrived to the hotel, even though I had booked a room and payed in advance, the staff told me they dont have a room for me and sent me 2 blocks away to their sister hotel. The room i stayed in was spacious. It was however showing signs of aging and needs some upgrading. Overall the hotel seemed to be nice.

A good hotel but starting to show its age and needing a little bit spending on decoration etc.
Reasonable area of the City with decent eating houses in walking distance.
Staff very helpful and attentive.
Breakfast good -- both UK and continental style.
