We stayed here overnight in Sept 2011 and were amazed at the service and help we received at this hotel.
It was clean, wonderful with a great breakfast and an amazing doorman, Michael..
When we arrived the front desk asked us how much we had payed for our taxi from the airport and said ten euros was too much...the cabbie they said should have taken between seven and eight euros. They told us to talk to Michael when we asked how much it would cost to get to the Plaza de Rossio (Lisbon Central Square).
When we were ready to leave for the square and asked Michael for help, he took us under his wing, hailed a cab, bargained for the price and put us into it admonishing us not to get into a cab demanding more on the way back.
He really made us feel special, though everything about this place was great.
The breakfast buffet the next morning was very good too.
We would definitely stay here again and thank the management and staff for their kindness and courtesy.
