I have to declare a distant connection with the hotel Miraparque. I don't think this clouds my judgement, however, and it gives me some inside knowledge. I've stayed there twice and lived in Lisbon for a few years, also seeing other hotels, so I have some comparison material.
Firstly, it's a well priced, three star hotel, so don't expect the world. It is, however, in a smartish, convenient neighbourhood, close to the tourist centre (reviewers who say they couldn't walk there are lazy and missing a pleasant walk) and very close to the metro.
The outside of the hotel is smart. The interior and the rooms are not extremely luxurious, but large, functional, and clean.
A positive aspect is that this is an independent, family owned and run hotel. The fact that they have owned it for ever also means they do it very professionally.
Being busy, relatively large, and very reasonably priced, service is friendly, but they might not fawn over you.
An average, well-run, clean hotel, which gets extra points for value.
