I recently booked accommodation with feel good apartment for my planned upcoming trip to Lisbon. The customer service I have received from the hotel even before traveling is unacceptable!!
I booked the hotel on a Friday night at 8pm, and while reviewing my booking with my husband noticed the dates I booked were not the right ones, and we not be travelling to Lisbon after all. The website says 30% deposit required at booking. (Understandable) However, I emailed the hotel within 1 hour of booking to inform them of our travel cancellation requirements. The hotel took 3 days to return my email, at which they told me too bad, be more careful booking next time!!! HONESTLY!! they made 50 Euros off me for NOTHING!!! my requested travel dates are in September 2011, and I asked to cancel an hour after reserving! I think this is unbelievable that they wouldn't refund my deposit after only an hour. I do understand policy, and would be ok with this had a requested to cancel closer to my travel dates. But 5 months away, I am sure the Feel good hotel can replace my reservation in that time. I don't think I have cause they much hassle but not arriving!!! they so not care about their customers, or accomading potential customers.
I had intentions of re-booking when we decided on our travel dates, however after the bad attitude of the rep replying to email. I will never book this hotel again, nor will I recommend this to my travel groups.
