easy access from the airport,lovely area around the hotel!two metro lines just 100 m from the hotel but also close to the center by feet.the room was big and very clean,the bathroom also..in the Marques Pombal sq you can take also many buses.the reception staff were very helpful and kind.you can use in the reception a computer with free internet access but also they provide free wi-fi...the breakfast room was very big and the breakfast buffet superb!!!nothing bad to say only good words!!!you will love it as Lisbon city!!!

Excellent position, located in the best part of Lisbon. We don't like the so called 'city center' of a capital as it is full of weird people, all kind of people -for example, in Lisbon, there are a lot of guys trying to sell you marijuana in the street! All these happen in the city center, but near Marques Pombal Square is different. Excelent shops, very nice hotels, expensive ones, but HF Fenix Garden which, in my opinion, is the best you can get at this excellent price! We have stayed there 4 times during the last 3 years and from year to year we found a lot of changes, very good and very useful ones! They have very good staff and very nice rooms, clean, with excellent view over the Eduardo VII Park. It is a very nice shopping center with excellent shops, called Amoreiras, located 5 minutes walk. Also, the metro station is right outside of the hotel so you don't need any other transportation in Lisbon!
Overall, excelent hotel, very good located, nice people, free wifi in the roms, excellent breakfast! We will definately chose HF Fenix Garden next time in Lisbon!

I've spend 4 night with my wife in Fenix Garden in last december and the hotel was exactly what i expected. It is a relatively small hotel, with a lovely and confortable room, in a quiet neighborhood and with an excellent breakfast. Only remark is that (as always) rooms are not cleaned to the perfection, which means, it is clean but, if you look under the beds, you will maybe find some dust....

Metro station Marquês de Pombal is right in front of the hotel. Two metro lines (blue and yellow) come across at this station. Besides, it's only about 15-20 minutes walk to Rossio. Going to Belem, bus 747 is right around the corner that you don't really have to go down to downtown to transfer to tram. Room is clean and at good size but shower room is a little bit too small. Staff aren't the most friendly people but knowledgeable that they don't chat that much with you but provide useful information.
