The Lobby
Clean and tastefully decorated.
The Elevator
European size - if you have a lot of luggage or there are more than two of you - good luck!
The Stairwell
Very well maintained and clean - preferred taking the stairs up three floors rather than being in the elevator.
The Room
The room was clean and the decor was kind of...cute. Pink and white walls with cherubs for decorations. Not a complaint - just a statement.
Size: Decent size room with windows that opened. View of apartment building but you don't go to Fatima for the view out of your hotel window. (see my picture for a better idea of the view)
Beds were typically extra-firm, but I brought my feather pillow with me which always makes sleeping in a hard bed more bearable.
Bathroom: Shower, Bath, Bidet, Toilet - very clean and compact.
Walls were paper thin - if you sleep light bring some ear plugs as you will hear people in the hallway. I sleep like the dead - it didn't have an effect on me except for one night when I couldn't fall asleep and then I just lay there listening to people come and go.
BREAKFAST
For a three star this hotel offered a decent breakfast with a choice of FRESH breads, small cakes, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea and fruit.
Restaurant
Out of three days we ate one meal at the restaurant. It was good but not as good but nothing to "write home about". Honestly, I can't remember what I ate...some fish thing...it was ok but I believe we paid 30 euros for our meal (with a bottle of wine). The wine was great!
If you're going to Fatima, you're probably going to the Basilica etc. - you won't spend a lot of time in your room anyway - sure there are better hotels in town - but you won't go wrong with the price of this establishment.
