“A class of its own”

I, together with my parents, stayed here for two nights in October. We were on a tour and since Portugal was our last stop, I didn't have a lot of expectations. But when we got there, I was amazed at how big and bright the lobby was. The elevators were small like the rest in Europe but I personally didn't care at that point. The room given to us was a suite so for three people, it was really a treat. The room was very big, with lots of space to move around. The entire hotel was quiet, and our sleep was uninterrupted.

Wifi was free all over the hotel which was fantastic because at first look with the quality of this hotel you'd bet they charge for internet. Food, although basic, was sufficient to start the day.

Our primary purpose was to pray to Our Lady of Fatima and since the hotel was just a few meters away from the shrine, everything was hassle-free. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a stress-free pilgrimage to the shrine. I am very hard to please when it comes to hotels so this review was refreshing to make.

And seriously, only 3 stars? They can say 4 and actually get away with it. =)

“Excellent Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

The hotel is huge! The lobby is spacious and well-lighted. The rooms were large. They were clean and they smelled clean! The door knobs and window locks were all in working condition. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficient. Free wi-fi service was fast and available everywhere in the hotel. The staff was generally pleasant. The dining room is simple but pristine. Breakfast is the same everyday so it can get a little tiring. Meals served throughout the day are satisfactory but not exceptional. Service by the dining room staff is fast and friendly. The location is perfect---right smack in a shopping district and a brief walk from the shrine.

“The other reviews already say everything; a good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2010

I went to this hotel in a conferee meeting. everything was there, from breakfast to coffee breaks to the talks and the sleeping of course.
There were a lot of good sweets in the coffee breaks, the food during the meals was nice but with little choice and the conditions for the talks/conference were pretty good.

The hotel is very close to the sanctuary, less then 5 minutes walking.

The rooms are spacious, clean but I found the sound insulating a bit week even if I did not heard anything during the night. The town was quiet that night.

“Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2009

Stayed two nights at the hotel for the purposed of seeing Fatima - and especially where the children were born and the apparitions took place. The hotel is decent and in a lovely area within walking distance to the Basilica.

“In the heart of downtown Fatima”

This hotel is right in the middle of all the souvenir shops and all the tourists. It is clean and modern, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was fine, however, Fatima left a lot to be desired.
