“FIRST CLASS HOTEL WITH EXCELLENT FOOD.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days in August 2011 and found it to be a wonderful experience. The hotel staff were very nice - the rooms were spotless and the food was excellent and plentiful. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Everything about it was FIRST CLASS. And I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Fatima. Liz

“Pilgrims' Progress!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

My sister, daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and had a really lovely time here.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Reception staff especially "Ricardo" were very helpful with maps and directions, "Maria" in the restaurant gave us wonderful service, and the cleaners kept us clean and tidy every day.
It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but they do have room service. They also give you bottled water and fresh fruit on arrival but would have liked to make a cup of tea when I felt like it.
Would certainly reccommend this hotel.

“the worst hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

i stood there only one night: It's a four star hotel but it deserves three or less. Very small room, dirty window glasses, without the bath facilities of a four star hotel. Dinner and breakfast horrible as to quality, variety and quantity. Staff in the restaurant helpless.

“A class of its own”

I, together with my parents, stayed here for two nights in October. We were on a tour and since Portugal was our last stop, I didn't have a lot of expectations. But when we got there, I was amazed at how big and bright the lobby was. The elevators were small like the rest in Europe but I personally didn't care at that point. The room given to us was a suite so for three people, it was really a treat. The room was very big, with lots of space to move around. The entire hotel was quiet, and our sleep was uninterrupted.

Wifi was free all over the hotel which was fantastic because at first look with the quality of this hotel you'd bet they charge for internet. Food, although basic, was sufficient to start the day.

Our primary purpose was to pray to Our Lady of Fatima and since the hotel was just a few meters away from the shrine, everything was hassle-free. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a stress-free pilgrimage to the shrine. I am very hard to please when it comes to hotels so this review was refreshing to make.

And seriously, only 3 stars? They can say 4 and actually get away with it. =)

“Excellent Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

The hotel is huge! The lobby is spacious and well-lighted. The rooms were large. They were clean and they smelled clean! The door knobs and window locks were all in working condition. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficient. Free wi-fi service was fast and available everywhere in the hotel. The staff was generally pleasant. The dining room is simple but pristine. Breakfast is the same everyday so it can get a little tiring. Meals served throughout the day are satisfactory but not exceptional. Service by the dining room staff is fast and friendly. The location is perfect---right smack in a shopping district and a brief walk from the shrine.
