My Dad chose this hotel for it's 4* rating and it more than lived up to its promise.
Staff were courteous, well mannered, polite and always eager to help. The rooms, and especially the bathroom (which my Mum gets particularly fussy about) were spotless. Fresh towels laid out every day and the room was cleaned almost as soon as we were out the door in the mornings.
Breakfast was plentiful in the mornings. However English visitors be warned that there wasn't much of a choice of hot food. Mainly cold meats, rolls, cereal etc. - European style. The hot food comprised of scrambled egg and some very burnt bacon. However, the cake they had at the breakfast buffet was scrumptious. Not sure if it is made in house, but it was one of the best we've had - and we've travelled quite extensively.
We were particularly impressed with the facilities they had for older and disabled people. We needed a wheelchair for my Dad which we were able to get quite easily at the front desk, free of charge. There is a ramp by the front door which was also very convenient for the wheelchair and the pushchair we had.
Location to the sanctuary was an especial selling point. Literally a stone's throw away, so can nip out to church in the morning before breakfast, if the mood takes you.
All in all, a very pleasant stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
