The hotel was a bit dated like stepping back to the 70´s in need of an overhaul although it may look better in the summer. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the location is very good and easy to get to Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon. A decent value for money location if you want it just as a base to explore the region.
Now for the downside, the hotel is next to Estoril racing track and we found at around 7.30 am every weekday the motorcyles were testing for the coming season if you like the motor racing you are fine, otherwise if you have been out the night before it is very annoying. The breakfast is very basic and if you go down after 9am there isnt a lot left. But apart from that it is ok and has more plus than minus points. We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again just to use the place as a base.
