I've stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. A huge room on the 4th floor with a great seaview balcony. Clean room, which was cleaned perfectly every day. Some of the staff was friendly and helpful, others were less motivated to help. Breakfast was ok for my needs.
The hotel is right in the center of Estoril across the street of the Casino. This means bright night and rather loudish all night long and every day of the week. This didn't bother me, but probably not the right hotel if you don't sleep very deep. Second negative point for people who are sensitive to electric smog: The hotel has six cellphone antennas on its rooftop.
I've booked the hotel through Tripadvisor/hotels.com and the great deal made the hotel good value for money. Recommendation therefore depending of the price one pays.

5 nights for a birthday trip
very big room and comfortable beds and a balcony all for a very small price booked on line well in advance
good advice from english speaking receptionists on buses trips etc
enough restaurants in 10 mins walk to have variety
only fault a long walk up hill for a couple of retired folk a car would have been great
fair breakfast for the price
all very clean and the lift a big bonus

The hotel is right across from the casino and close to the beach. Rooms are good, but for all the tea lovers, be warned there are no kettles in the rooms. Room service is available. Rooms advertised as 'double' are definitely 'twin', with two single beds pushed together. Breakfast is good, but very varied. We had the same offering all week.
One small negative comment: We had booked on one of the comparison websites and when we got to the hotel, we were not actually given the room category we had booked. When going back to reception, we did get the room category we had initially booked - why not straight away!?

The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the Estoril train station and easy to find since it's right in front of Casino Estoril. Our room was very comfortable and was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was included in the offer and it was sufficient,though it was the same menu! There aren't many restaurants and shops to buy things in the area but Cascais was only two stations away so it wasn't a big problem. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time in Portugal and it meant alot to come back to a comfortable and safe place to rest after a long day of sightseeing!
