“7 nights and 0 problems”

We've been to this hotel on New Year's Eve and we stayed there for one week. It was lovely, the position is perfect, very close to the sea, rooms are clean and the breakfast is just amazing!
There was a tv in the room with English channel, air conditioning and a balcony.
I really enjoyed my holiday and it's even better if I think how cheap it was

“Bad.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

One star for a relatively pretty room (despite a not so great washroom) and location near the beach (also quiet). Another star for the lovely lady who was working there at the time.
Lousy breakfast. Difficult to access from the station - quite uphill. A friendly local drove me up there. Terrible bar/restaurant facility. Worst sandwich I've ever eaten.
Bad internet facility. Room had roaches and wasn't in great shape. Poor insulation.
Relatively very expensive for the quality. Not good value and I got a hefty discount. Must be terrible value at full price.

“Pleasant and Comfortable Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

The hotel was nice enough, nothing fancy, no free wifi. Room had bath and shower but could have done with more light in the bathroom for using the mirror, also could have done with a full length mirror. No tea or coffee facilitiies in the rooms. Also 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double. We didn't pay much though so it met our expectations.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balconies but others don't

“perfect hotel for (younger) couples”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

Good hotel, walking distance from the train station Estroril, 2 mins away from the Casino. Very good room facilities, great staff at reception and even better with housekeeping. Clean towels and bed linnen everyday makes it even better.

on the down side, bar serving no (alcoholic) drinks + no fridge in the rooms, bar food menu relatively only for lunch/snack.

but all in all, perfect hotel for couples who are still willing to walk the hills everytime to train/bus stop and in the neighbourhood of decent restaurants/bars and a great casino.
