All there were very helpful and made us feel more than just residents, good location less than 5 mins walk to the beach, close to eating places and small bars away from the tourist areas of the town, breakfast was excellent so its a place I hope to return to one day

*Lots of stairs for those on the higher floors, fine if your able


Summing Up: This place is nothing to write home about, however given its location, cleanliness and service with a happy smile I would perhaps send an e-mail home about it. Good for a short visit to Cascais.

Loved this hotel. Located on beautiful streets, Cascais centre on one side and a big beautiful park on the other. A walk to the beach takes a few minutes and you enjoy marvellous views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacy and beautiful - you have a feeling of living in a former royal house for sure. Check the chapel and the garden, they are worth visiting. Breakfast is OK, got tired of all the eggs though. Overall, a great place to enjoy holidays in Cascais.

Stayed there for 4 nights in July 2010. We got a spacious great room. Big beds, big bathroom, air conditioning, TV. Homelike atmosphere. Delicious and varied breakfast. In the dining room nicely decorated, according to which one can understand that this building was indeed once a royal residence.
At the reception in an aquarium live fish charming Don Carlos.
We see that the building is a bit shabby, but inside is very cozy. Go to the ocean about 10 minutes. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants, shops and park.
