The room decor, furniture and bathroom needs investment but the room was very large and had plenty of storage. Our view was of the front of the hotel - sea and pool. The staff were very very friendly and helpful.

I've just got back from a 4 night break and found the hotel to be nothing special. I've been coming to Cascais for the last 4 years and have always stayed at the Pestana but on this occasion I got a cheap deal via Trivago. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and spacious but the lack of a kitchenette was a negative. The breakbast buffet was also a bit disappointing and some of the fruit looked like it had been there for a few days and didn't look very appealing at all. The hotel isn't in the best of locations either but it's only a short walk into the centre of Cascais. It's a perfectly adequate hotel for the deal I got but I feel you'd be a little disappointed if you have particularly high expectations.

My wife and I took an October break in Cascais and were really pleased with this friendly and excellent hotel and what a great swimming pool!we will definitely return!

We stayed for a week in September an were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. As others have said it is a little dated but nowhere near as bad as some reviews have said. Room was clean and bright with balcony overlooking pool and with sea view. Slightly disappointed that there was no fridge/minibar in the room so we couldnt keep water etc cold. Air conditioning in the hotel was good but not so great in our room. Breakfast was better than expected with a good selection of eggs, bacon, croissants, cereal, toast etc. However it was the same everyday. The pool area was pleasant although slightly noisy with a road close by but was generally fine. The hotel provided beach towels. Location was fine - not right in the heart of cascais but only 5 mins or so walk. Overall pleased.
