Helpful staff but too young and inexperienced. Parking is awful though the hotel location is excellent and the hotel is beautiful from the outside. Good architecture. Inside...well...the room we stayed in was dreadful in terms of decoration and the dinning room was shockingly pseudo-modern for an ancient bulding like that, showing lack of taste. Regular breakfast.

“lovely hotel, nice location ... helpful staff”

We stayed overnight on a trip through Northern Portugal. The hotel is an interesting renovation of an old building. A nice mix of old and new. It is really well located in the historic center of Viseu... making it very easy to see the main churches, the Grau Vasco museum , and other sights. The staff is quite helpful. I would return here.
