As soon as Ibis is an international chain you are always know that are you getting: simple and clean accommodation for a decent price. This one is not an exception: basic room in the centre of the town. This Ibis is not renovated and still holds old room standard. Location is very central, lots of night bars, restaurants are nearby. As well as a very large sand beach Claridade equipped with showers, toilets and beach cafes. There is almost not possible to park near the hotel, had to leave the car on the large free public parking on the embankment. Note: if you need more luxury accommodation consider Mercure hotel by the same operator (Accor) located on the seafront.

“good value”
As always with Ibis hotels you know roughly what you are getting. This hotel is no exception. Basic room - a little small but satisfactory, clean and well equipped with storage areas. Excellent bath shower etc area kept clean. Would like Ibis to provide tea & coffee in room like travelodge do but I suppose at the price which is unbelivably good corners have to be cut.
A good walk (20 mins) from the railway station. A good location if staying in the town - close to the sea front but was an overnight stay and dint go on a voyage of discovery.
Will stay again without question if in the area.
Breakfast available early but chargeable - excellent value if taken.
