“Great Hotel”

I stayed in hotel Solneve for 4 nights and enjoyed it very mutch.
The rooms had been renewed.The beds are new and also everything in the bathrooms.The floor of the rooms is in wood.It isn´t a carpet and I think that´s more hygenic and avoids allergies.It has an heated swimmingpool, an amazing spa were I had a hot stones massage.The jacuzzi was functioning and there were two of them so me am my friends were in one for 8 people at a time.We ordered drinks and had a terrific evening after a day of skiing and cold snow.
The restaurant had tipical food and everything was very good.The desserts were great!
The room had a computer and internet for free.It also had a massage tub but with the jacuzzi and the heated swimmingpool we didn´t even tryed it.Oh and the suites all had a massage chair in witch we could play a cd and relax.
It was a wounderful stay and I´ll surelly come back.

already unappealing due to the fact that it is in the mega-dull Covilha, the solneve has little to offer but charm-free rooms and a decorative computer next to the bed... i say decorative, because the computer is supposed to be hooked up to the internet, but actually does nothing... well, i guess it uses up electricity.

the decor in this hotel is like a nightmare from the worst taste of the seventies, all with the patina of 30 years of accumulated dust and dreariness. god knows why, but there was a group of 100 senior-citizen package tourists staying there, which made the breakfast room into a stuffy mess, with poorly stocked vittles, as well as sheer blockage at the front door of the hotel, which overlooks one of the ugliest main squares in a portuguese city that i have come across.

i can't think of why you would want to come stay here, unless you are visiting a distant relative or have to attend some work-related event in this city which stands out in terms of only one feature: mediocrity.
