This hotel was comfortable for a couple days stay. The rooms were fairly modern, clean and spacious. There was a fairly comprehensive breakfast in the mornings and our internet was free. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but it is only a 10 minute walk from the city center.

I don't see why a lot of people are not happy with this hotel. I travelled in Portugal for 2 weeks and this was one of the best places we stayed at. They had the best breakfast out of all the hotels that we stayed at and the fastest free internet. For the price I paid (30 euro per night) it was a great value. The interior of the room was pretty modest but who cares when you travel and only stay there at night. As long as the bed linen are clean that's what matters to me the most. The hotel very close to the bus station and downtown. The street it's located on is a bit gloomy but it wasn't a problem for me at all. If you are travelling on a budget this is a nice and clean hotel with great breakfast and fast wifi.

The hotel was ok, though for 3 stars I would have expected a little more. The room didn't have carpets, which gave it a bare and slightly cold feel and the floor looked a little dirty when I arrived. Also, the mattress was quite old and saggy. There was a dirty little terrace/balcony with views of the main street. Breakfast was quite good in comparison to the room. Overall the room was fine for my purposes,but I would rate it as 2 stars rather than 3. The location of the hotel is not bad as it is very near the historical centre, though the main road is a bit grim. Also, there is a bus station with connections to other cities in Portugal very nearby.

The hotel is located very centrally. From front rooms on 4th floor and up , you can see the old city of Coimbra.
Rooms are clean, a bit old and need renovation. More like a 2 star hotel.
Good breakfast. Parking for fee at the adjacent parking lot.
