This is a large hotel in a small town, as far as we could see, the only hotel in town. Anadia has great sports facilities and a pleasant central square and fantastic wine museum, also a railway station making access easy. The hotel is super clean with spacious public areas, comfortable bar, good size rooms, but no major luxuries. However, the internet connection on the front side of the hotel (next to the road) was free and great, the tubs were great and the water was hot. On the rear of the hotel there are balconies overlooking the vineyards. The management were extremely helpful and willing to please. Food was generous and traditional Portuguese. Would recommend but it is not the height of luxury.
