Stayed here for 4 nights in early september in room #330. Our room had an incredible and private view of Mount Brazil, the pool and the ocean. We had a nice balcony and the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was really good and the staff were super friendly (especially the bar staff) and everyone spoke English. The room that breakfast was in has great views and so does the bar which even has a large balcony with several tables and chairs. There is also a room with a pool table in it and a seperate room with couches and a TV.
The hotel has a huge salt water pool with really nice views, although it's not that deep. We ate at the pool bar and the food was very good (grilled fish). They also have an indoor pool but we never saw anyone use it as we had perfect weather for the outdoor pool. There is a small gym that seemed like it was hotter than a steam room so there was never anyone in there either.
The hotel is a short walk into town and if you prefer swimming in the ocean rather than a pool, there is a small, interesting, public swimming place with handrails leading into the sea about a 5 minute walk away. If you want late nightlife on weekends, there is a disco called Twins nearly across the street. We didn't have a computer so not sure about the wi-fi setup. We rented a scooter through the hotel which was no hassle and highly reccomended for checking out all the cool sites that Terceira has to offer. No question that if we come back here, we will stay in the Terceira Mar.
