A good clean modern hotel with friendly staff. All the rooms face the sea, which is very attractive. The dining room was more spacious than the other hotels that we stayed at in the Azores. I am diabetic - and the breakfasts did not cater well for diabetics - e.g. mainly white bread - not diabetic jams, etc..

The pool outside was welcome - but only 3 feet deep - which limited our scope.

But - the allure of the Azores is the scenery - so don't spend all your time at Angra. Get around and see the island!

Wonderful view in all rooms!. Very nice swimming pool. Hotel location is outside town, but you can walk 10-15 minutes. Basic services; a 4* hotel should provide free wifi but it doesn’t; it’s paid and very expensive. A little bit “old fashion” but stylish! I agree with a previous review regarding breakfast juices; very poor quality!! A shame for a 4* hotel! Clean, nice and friendly staff.

My wife and i stayed in two deferent hotels while honeymooning in Terceira. The first hotel was everything a four start hotel should be (Priai Marina). Terceira Mar Hotel is not a hotel to stay at if you plan to just kick back and relax by the pool. The hotel grounds are dominated by locals that have memberships for the gym located in the hotel. This was a BIG issue when it came to enjoying the best feature that this hotel offers it's guests the pool erea. Gym memberships allow for it's members to use all the facilities available at the hotel (pool,spa,gym). This is a MAJOR problem when it comes to security. For a hotel that claims to be a four star hotel it does not offer it's guests free internet service.

A hotel aimed at tourist groups on a lovely bay just away from the city.
Pretty good but rooms airless and not really in keeping with the character of
this wonderful town.
