My Aunt and I shared a lovely room facing the ocean bay. The view was beautiful, the ocean breeeze refreshing. The morning meals included with our stay of two weeks were very good and offered a great variety of foods to pick from. We loved our stay here and on this beautiful Island. Although our visit was approx. 10 years ago, we still talk and revisit our wonderful stay often.

We arrived on Ferry From Pico.
My Bag with passport & credit card were lost - we met a local lady on the docks who help communicate with the ferry company for us.

She was picking up a motor part from the ferry.

Our bags showed up 3 days later - everything present.
This Lady Lucilla rang the hotel she used to work in
Hotel Beira Mar. They offered us a room in either this hotel or thier pension (ille also get great reviews).

Lucilla Drove us to the hotel - what hospitality.

We had no credit cards etc - that didn't matter to Ms Zilda at reception We settled our bill when the bag arrived.
We got a lovely room over looking the bay and little beach.
We ate in the terrace restaurant - great location great food.
Fish soul in the bowl made from break - WOW
The town is very charming - nice little resaurant and shops.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more hightly.
Hotel also has its own car hire and they offer guests 10 to 15% discount.
