The rooms are very comfortable except the pillows, maid were very pleasant and bathrooms and room kept very clean, good views and breakfast very good, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cold meats, pastries, toast, bacon and scrambled eggs. We tried the Pnoramic restaurant, service good and meal looked very presentable but lacked seasoning and please stop calling white wine from Pico island Vinho Verde, it's not as we live in this reason of Portugal and we get slightly miffed!!!
If wanting a meal on a budget then go two blocks behind the hotel on the Western side and there is a fantastic takeaway/sit down restaurant with daily menus, great staff and food very good value, Cozinha d'Arlete Restaurant, if wanting to go out then the restaurants are very expensive for the type of food and ambience, try Cais 20 in Sao Roque, which is half an hour walk to the East side of Ponta Delgada and € 6.00 by taxi, great economy menu and they have specials which are great.
