Location: 5 minutes by car from the airport. 5-10 minutes walk from the city of Ponta Delgada center. Very calm area. Only in the morning sometimes expect low landing airplanes. A taxi fare from the airport 5-6 Euro.

Car: parking places in front of the hotel are paid ( from 8 am to 7 pm Monday-Saturday ). Lot of free parking spaces 200 meters from the hotel. The hotel has got a free garage paring but only for a limited number of cars. The park is small and difficult to put a bigger car.

Rooms: OK, nothing special. Little noisy. Service very friendly. Good hot breakfast.

Wireless Internet: paid and delivered by pt.com only available in the lobby. There are a couple of computers in the lobby with paid Internet ( 2 Euro 15 min, 3 Euro 30 min, 4 Euro 1 hour ).

The hotel is very well located, although it is at one end of the city you can easily walk to commercial areas. The rent-a-car area is very close, which was also helpful for us. We got a room in the top floor, the view was amazing! The room was quite large and had a nice balcony, although we didn't enjoyed it that much (it was winter). Breakfast was nice, nothing special. We found it difficult to find the pool announced in the site, as there were no sign in the hall or anywhere in the hotel. Finally we found it in the first floor, but it was under construction. :(

Excellent hotel, in the middle of the city. Has been chosen randomly, but it was worth. Great buffet breakfast and cozy beds await the traveller.
Only one bad point: the fire alarm buttons are below the lamp switches, and guests often mix the two, which results in fake fire alarms in the middle of the night :S

We spent a week at this hotel and staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good. rooms were very clean and spacious. Excellent value for money. Restaurant next door O Baco, was very handy and good food and service. this hotel made our trip very enjoyable! Highly recommended.
